Festival Hours

  • Friday, September 18: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM

  • Saturday, September 19: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Vendors may choose their own operating hours; however, booth fees remain the same regardless of the hours you choose to be open.

Booth Information

Each registration includes one 10' x 10' outdoor booth space.

Vendors are responsible for providing their own:

  • Tent or canopy

  • Tables and chairs

  • Displays and signage

  • Electricity (none is provided)

  • Any additional equipment needed for their booth

Vendor setup will take place Friday, September 18, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Booth assignments will be determined by the Tri City BBQ Fest.

What Can I Sell?

Allowed

  • Business promotions

  • Nonprofit and service organization booths

  • Handmade goods

  • Arts and crafts

  • Jewelry

  • Clothing and apparel

  • Soaps and bath products

  • Face painting

  • Balloon artists

  • Temporary tattoos

  • Caricatures

  • Photo booths

  • Children's activities

  • Games

  • Bingo

  • Dunk tanks

  • Bake sales and packaged desserts

  • Products that do not compete with food vendors

Not Allowed

  • Prepared hot food

  • Alcohol

  • Food that competes with festival food vendors

The Tri City BBQ Fest reserves the right to decline any vendor that is not a good fit for the event. If your application is denied, your registration fee will be refunded.

Vendor Policies

  • The festival is held rain or shine.

  • Vendors are responsible for keeping their booth area clean throughout the event.

  • All signs and displays must remain within your assigned booth space.

  • Guy wires must be clearly marked for safety.

  • Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable Iowa sales tax.

  • Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal health, sanitation, and fire regulations.

  • The Tri City BBQ Fest may use your business name and logo to promote the festival.

Please note that participation does not guarantee sales or attendance levels.

Insurance & Liability

Vendors are responsible for their own property, equipment, inventory, and insurance. The Tri City BBQ Fest, Chamber & Development Council of Crawford County, City of Denison, KCBS, and sponsoring organizations are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, weather-related incidents, or injuries associated with vendor participation.

Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable once your application has been accepted.

If the Tri City BBQ Fest declines your application, your registration fee will be refunded in full.
